題目︰A Modular Approach to Control System Design
Abstract: The modular approach to control system design aims to design control systems for individual 'components' in a large network in such a way that performance is maintained even as they are interconnected. It offers a simple way to design for performance that provides provable guarantees that hold even in extremely large systems. In this talk we will describe a new approach to modular control system design, and an application to electrical power systems. Notably, our framework certifies the stability of several existing power system control schemes and models, and paves the way for similar analyses in grids with high levels of renewable penetration.

His research interests include scale-free methods for control system design, stability and control of electrical power systems, and fundamental performance limitations in large-scale systems.
